Terms of Service

By downloading, accessing, or using GymAmor ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. Service Description

GymAmor is an iOS fitness tracking application that provides workout logging, AI-powered coaching, gym discovery, training programs, progress analytics, and optional social features including an activity feed and leaderboards.

2. Accounts

An account is required to use GymAmor. You sign in using Apple Sign In. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity that occurs under it. You must not share your credentials or allow others to access your account.

3. Subscriptions & Billing

GymAmor offers a Free tier and a Premium subscription:

  • Free Tier — Includes a 30-day trial period or up to 11 logged workouts (whichever comes first), 10 AI coach messages, and access to 3 training programs.
  • Premium — $9.99/month or $59.99/year. Unlocks unlimited workouts, AI coaching, all programs, advanced analytics, and social features.

Premium subscriptions are auto-renewing and billed through Apple's in-app purchase system. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your iOS Settings under Subscriptions. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Refunds are handled by Apple in accordance with their refund policies and applicable law.

4. AI Coach Disclaimer

The GymAmor AI Coach is powered by artificial intelligence and provides fitness-related suggestions for informational purposes only. It is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before starting or modifying any exercise program, especially if you have pre-existing health conditions or injuries. GymAmor is not liable for any injury, harm, or adverse outcome resulting from following AI coaching recommendations.

5. User Content

You retain ownership of all workout data, custom templates, and other content you create within GymAmor. By posting content through social features (activity feed, comments, leaderboards), you grant GymAmor a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to display, distribute, and reproduce that content within the App for the purpose of operating the social features. This license ends when you delete the content or your account.

6. Prohibited Use

You agree not to:

  • Harass, abuse, or threaten other users through social features.
  • Manipulate workout data, leaderboards, or streaks through fraudulent means.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App or its services.
  • Scrape, crawl, or use automated tools to extract data from the App.
  • Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms.

7. Intellectual Property

The GymAmor app, its design, branding, built-in workout templates, training programs, and all related materials are the intellectual property of GymAmor. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from these materials without written permission. Custom templates and workout data you create belong to you.

8. Limitation of Liability

The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, GymAmor shall not be liable for:

  • Any injury, illness, or physical harm resulting from exercise performed using the App.
  • Loss of data, including workout logs or account information.
  • Interruptions, errors, or downtime of the service.
  • Any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time from within the App. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately, though we will retain data as necessary to comply with legal obligations.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Alberta, Canada, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Alberta, Canada.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms within the App or on our website. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
